Fenech Follow-up

Fenech pleaded not-guilty today and had his case adjourned until February 9. His lawyer insists that a store video tape will prove his client’s innocence.

Fenech’s partner in alleged crime, Francis Grech, pleaded guilty and was fined $550. Grech claimed he stole the watches — which he gave to Fenech’s wife and two other female acquaintances of the Fenech family — to repay the boxer for his generosity.
