Steve Cunningham Should get his shot at O’Neil Bell

Zab Judah’s loss was a disappointment, as it put the kibosh on his planned fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr., but Saturday’s fight results could provide a silver lining for the cruiserweight division.

Overshadowed by O’Neil Bell’s win over Mormeck, Steve Cunningham — Ring Magazine’s #2 cruiserweight contender — took care of business against Lloyd Bryan, winning with a 5th round TKO. The W positions him to now fight Bell (he was the IBF mandatory contender before Mormeck-Bell, but stepped aside to allow the unification bout).
