Not another effing boxing blog… If that’s you’re reaction, I hear you. This modest endeavor may not prove a useful contribution to the blogosphere, but there’s only one way to find out.
As I’ve chronicled elsewhere, I decided to start this after rejoining boxing’s fandom. It’s helping me get acquainted with the current state of the sport and track its major events — my aim is to help others with the same.
I cover the fights that interest me, which are generally the fights that would attract boxing fanatics and also be of interest to casual fans. Far from comprehensive, the Late Rounds Watch List is largely influenced — for better or worse — by the TV schedule. (I recommend boxrec.com, fightnews.com, or a subscription to maxboxing.com if you’re after a comprehensive list.)
Late Rounds is basically a one-man operation at this point, though it wouldn’t exist without the continued support of a friend — the same who delivered the initial kick in the ass to get me started. To him I say thanks, and thanks to you as well for reading.
