Margarito drops Gomez in 1, Viloria handles Aguirre

Sunday, February 19th, 2006

It took Antonio Margarito’s right hand 74 seconds to take out Manuel Gomez and retain the WBO welterweight title last night.

Mayweather-Judah Back on!

Friday, January 27th, 2006

The fight was scrapped when Judah stumbled against Baldomir, but apparently there was still enough fan interest (read money) to motivate Don King and Bob Arum to make this fight happen.
The official announcement won’t come until next week, but ESPN’s Dan Rafael reports it will remain an HBO PPV event on April 8.
